juldeaWell. The movie didn't depress me in the least. It disturbed me, yes, and the ending is certainly not happy, but I'm not touched personally by it. I guess my lack of drug addiction - almost total ignorance of it - helps me not empathize.
Cinematically it is awesome. It's a great package. The leading lady (Ellen Barkin?) is totally amazing.
Not sure yet if it's a movie I'd recommend to people or not, but certainly if you ever plan on seeing it, it's not going to leave you happy and peppy afterwards. Be forewarned.

I know it would deeply disturb me,and probably really depress me.
I guess cause I know the addict thing too well sadly
