I realized that although I have a nice little schedule written out for myself, I hadn't shared it with anyone else. This I will now do:
Saturday: Andy Burnett's memorial service in the morning. Probably gather with the Edmond crowd for a few hours after that. Drive to Bartlesville, possibly stop and see
dayeaux at work, have dinner with my grandparents. Spend the night in Bartlesville.
Sunday: Wake up in Bartlesville, do breakfast with my grandparents, maybe see other relatives as well. Maybe see
dayeaux then if not the day before. Drive back home. Work my last Papa John's shift, 4-11, and possibly hang out at the store for a few hours after that too (or get drunk at Mr. Bill's). Go home and begin packing.
Monday: Pack all day long. If you want to stop by my apartment sometime before I leave, Monday is the best day. I should be there all day long. I would like to have some kind of gathering in the evening, but I don't know if I'll have the time, or even who would show up. Perhaps dinner at Pad Thai, or delivered from Pad Thai?
Tuesday: Finish packing. Pick up the truck at 11:30, load it up. I will need at least one other pair of hands as strong as mine for this (I'm not loading anything I can't comfortably lift half of). The used furniture store will come by to buy a couple things off of me (heavy-ass desk, possibly the couch, possibly some bookshelves). Maybe I'll also call Goodwill and tell 'em to come get the recliner. We'll see. Anyway, that daytime is good for people to drop by, too, especially if you're okay with helping load. I assume if I have everything packed by Monday night, Tuesday will be a breeze. Tuesday night I'm having dinner with my family at my brother's house.
Wednesday: Wake up, shower, pack last of stuff, have breakfast, drive away.
