juldeaYour cough is bad if it makes you get out of bed at 5am (after hours of unsuccessful trying-to-sleep), put on clothes, and go out in the cold to buy medicine at whatever 24-hour stores there are open (in this case, Albertson's). Ugh. I didn't even leave the parking lot before taking a swig. Here's hoping it takes effect soon and I can SLEEP. I made sure to get the badass 1.4%-alcohol maximum strength kind. Although it's still generic Albertson's brand.
I had a surreal delivery experience on Wednesday night, as about 1am a large portion of Norman lost power. You never realize how many lights there are until they are all out... it was SO dark driving down some streets. Luckily I only had to delivery one order to a dark house, and that was in an apartment complex I was pretty familiar with, and was able to turn off the car but leave the headlights shining into the doorway. The rest of the time I just drove THROUGH the darkened area. It was still very strange though. Like parts of Norman had just been swallowed by darkness...
Darnit, here it is almost 6am and I'm still up, thanks to this stupid cough. How will I have the energy to run tomorrow? And go to the Medieval Faire? AND get major amounts of homework done? Nothing I plan works out the way it should... *sigh* I wish the cough would go back to just being a major sore throat. That I could sleep with.
