So, Livejournal is having some problems lately, so who knows when everyone will be reading this? I hope they get their new servers soon so we can go back to the carefree days of posting/reading all the time. :)

Jason got off of work at 5, about 3 hours ago, and he's still not online. Unusual behaviour. Heh, he's probably stuck playing that PS2 of his... grin

Speaking of PS2, tonight I will be devirginized to Dance Dance Revolution! Hooray for exercise while gaming! :)

And speaking of exercise, I'm wearing one of my newly-wearable old pants today. It's nice.

Today I went to the optometrist and got a trial pack of the new daily contact lenses - wear them for one day, throw them away. I think my Dr. was kind of pissed that I made 5 packages of 2-week contacts last for a year... And since there's a little owie on my right eye, I had to listen to him all humble about wearing contacts for the right amount of time. I just hate all the ritual stuff you have to do with contacts every night... maybe if I get to just throw them away every night, I'll be ok.

The first half of my linear final is tomorrow. I wonder when I'll study...

weren't you the one worrying about money? aren't one-day-disposable ones much more expensive than the other kind?

Yes, about $40 more per year, which is why I'm only trying them out first (the trial pack comes with a week's worth of contacts). If I like changing them out every night, and if they're really as ubercomfortable as they claim to be, I think I can give up $40/yr.

Well the answer to wearing contacts... don't. Wear glasses! ^_^ Then all you have to do is take them off at night.

I don't like wearing glasses, though. Range of clear vision decreases dramatically. And they don't stay on, you have to continuously push them up, they fall off, you can't exercise and jump around in them... feh. Contacts are SO much better.
