I forgot to mention it, but Jason and I went out for mini-golf on Wednesday night. Since it was already 9pm when we left the house, we just went to Perfect Swing in Norman instead of trying to find Celebration Station and hope that it was open.

Bad idea, heh. Perfect Swing's course is horrid. The greens are all torn, there is grass growing on the holes, and they haven't been swept in at least a few weeks. And nothing moved! There were some trick holes with hills and stuff... but nothing really cool.

Jason and I tied, amusingly enough. He was 3 strokes behind on the first 9, and I lost the lead on the VERY LAST HOLE due to some dumb swinging. Oh, and he got a hole in one and the best I ever did was a 2, although we both had more hole-in-one chances that just tipped off the hole. Grumble. ;)

On another note, we rented and watched Traffic last night. GOOD MOVIE. I expected it to be bloody and stuff but it wasn't. There was implied violence but nothing horrid reached the screen. You saw some beat-up guys and one guy lying on the ground, shot, but never any gore. And the story was really good and intruiging. I love Benicio Del Toro!!!

Also, it's a thinking movie, but not in the philosophical deep thinking kind of sense (like Brazil). It's more of a "so what about this war on drugs thing anyway?" type of thinking. (note: war on SOME drugs). I recommend it!

Time for me to go and pretend like I won't be alone again in 6 hours...

If you like Benicio Del Toro you have to see Way of the Gun. It's a great movie. Although the violence is definitly not implied (but there is no gore). As for being alone... I'm sorry *comfort*.

I'll put that down on my list. My brother recommends Snatch, too, which is also violent. heh.
