I guess I should've counted weeks earlier, not just estimated... it's been 14 weeks since my last Depo shot. The next two paragraphs come from the Depo home page.

It's very important to get your injections on time, every 11 to 13 weeks. You can ask your health care professional to get your injection as early as week 11. If you wait longer than the end of week 13, you won't be protected. Because DEPO-PROVERA works by stopping ovulation, if you miss your injection, you may begin ovulating and could get pregnant.

So, if you do miss your injection (after 13 weeks since your last injection), you should protect yourself in the meantime using an alternate method of birth control, such as condoms, spermicides, or diaphragms. (Or don't engage in sexual activity until your next injection.) Your health care professional should give you a pregnancy test right before your next injection in order to make sure you aren't pregnant. Continue to use alternate birth control or refrain from sexual activity for another 2 to 3 weeks.

So, um, doh.

well I knew it was coming soon... =P I've been trying to get ahold of my ob-gyn in Norman, but every single time I call she's been out.

I doubt seriously that I am pregnant. The last time I had sex was Sunday, which was only 2 days after the end of the 13th week. Sure there are slim chances that I immediately started ovulating and popped out an egg to be fertilized, but don't those things take a few days?

And as for the rest of my time here (since I have to call tomorrow to make an appointment for my next shot, hopefully soon, and then there's the 2-3 week grace period afterwards) Trojan Man came to the rescue.

yeah, i wouldn't worry, except that you're of course going to, at least in the way back of your mind. the odds are probably not much better (worse?) than they regularly are on depo.

Yes to that first sentence! ;) I had gas bubbles in my stomach yesterday while reading all of that and boy did it freak me out, even though I know that my uterus probably wouldn't let me know it was working again quite so obviously. I went to the gym and worked out for a while to get my mind off of things and ended up feeling much better. :)
