loot, extended
25 December 2005 01:13Guess I should catalog the entire gathering, eh? Especially since I have nothing better to do at my grandfather's house at 1:15am on Christmas Day. (Thank $DEITY he has a computer and "Wal-Mart Connect" dialup service, at least.)
Above(Below?)-mentioned Longfellow book
$200 in cash and money orders
Old Navy velour hoodie and pants in black. Wearing those now. Mmm. :)
Hat, glove, and scarf set in green, beige, and green/beige stripe, respectively. My sister brought up having the gift receipt if I wanted to return them, which I would like to do, but I still feel socially unacceptable telling her so. Sigh. It's not that I don't LIKE them, I just have all the hats, gloves, and scarves that I need, and I'm sure I could find something else at Target to use the credit for.
3 Christmas ornaments for future tree
chocolate chip cookie dough mix in decorative tin
Warming weighted pillow neck massager thingy.
Lord of the Rings: Final Battle of Middle Earth Gift Pack (action figures.) I am stupid, stupid, stupid for opening this, because I don't intend to keep it, and now it's not in perfect condition anymore. Ah well.
A box of chocolate-covered cherries, which I shared with the rest of the family out of my kind, sharing soul, not at all because I really don't like cherries. Really.
Other various candies. They were in my stocking, so they count as gifts.
Whatever was supposedly mailed to me this week from my father. Perhaps more money.
londo, have you been checking the mail?
So, $200. All the gifts I bought, which were $100 total, were bought on my credit card, so I can use that cash to immediately pay those off. Then I'm torn between the practical thing to do (use the other $100 on the card as well) and the impractical thing to do (splurge on something!) Well, there's also the mostly-practical thing to do, which is use the money towards something I'd buy anyway when I had the cash. Hrm.
Oh, right. New userpic, ganked from
jmspencer. I liked it too much to let it go. :)
