vegemite suggestions

In 9 days I will be trying my first taste of the Australian wonder that is Vegemite. I understand that some love and some hate this concoction. To those of you who love it, is there a manner in which I should specifically attempt to try it in order to enjoy it? On a cracker? A piece of toast? I have no clue. Please suggest options. :)
