As promised, photos!! These span from pictures I took the day I left Norman to pictures from Jason's house and New Hampshire. Since there are 64 photos, I won't attempt to give you links here. Instead, I've linked them all together in hastily-made webpages.

Start here!

As soon as I figure out how to make a visit to faculty-staff.ou.edu/S/Julia.J.Suggs-1/MA give you a directory list, I will.

My favorites are 1, 6, 9, 12, 14, 24, 28, 41, 43, 45, 49, and 59.

Hehe it was the second time for me to see a chipmunk!! And the first time was earlier that week in Massachusetts. It scared me! :)

And the pictures don't even do the scenery justice... *sigh*

Nope... squirrels, tons of, but never chipmunks. I guess I never lived in parts of the country where they did.

I recently introduced the boy I'm dating to chipmunks. They eat the birdseed off my family's patio, where it falls when birds are careless. But I guess they're hard to find in Oklahoma. I've never seen any here in Norman, anyway.

Tee hee -- yes... but I didn't know if all the other folks on this thread knew him, so I figured I'd speak of him in general terms.

Here's a list of things I've noticed and thought of while looking at the pictures.

  • Rainbow... pretty
  • Cat... HUGE
  • State run liquor store... thinking of the teachers in Russia who got paid in vodka last month
  • Outdoor shots... new desktop wallpaper and now I want to go camping
  • Tree growing out of boulder... sw33t! Haven't seen one of those since my boy scout days, they're resilent little suckers too

That's about what struck me for now. Now all I want to do is go on vacation for... about a year.

Glad I could provide so much :)

Each of those pictures comes off of my camera HUGE, and what you see on the pages are at least 50% reduced. So if you want a large full-quality version of any of those, just let me know. They might fit better on your desktop :) (And I don't know if much resolution is lost during the resizing that isn't gained back).

About those state-run liquor stores (and this is straight from the mouth of my father):

Aparrently they only sell the hard stuff there, and these state-run stores are all over the state. If you want beer and wine coolers and stuff, you can get it at your Wal-marts and grocery stores and such.

This is a big "whoa" for someone who hails from Massachusetts, I can assure you. :D

Some of the scenes with the water between rock walls reminded me of Riven. Strange since Randen played that game and not me. But all pics were beautiful and how much more fun when sharing the scenery with a special someone! (o:
