Harry Potter interpretive dance

HOLY SHIT! This is awesome! karlean7, I think you'll especially appreciate it because of its ballet content, but seriously - if you're at all a Harry Potter fan, check this out. Harry Potter interpretive dance. It looks like a high school-aged production at a talent show or perhaps dance school recital, featuring about 20 dancers, including 6 featured dancers as Harry, Hermione, Ron, Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle. They even dance with wands and broomsticks at the end! Dammit, I wish I had been a part of something as cool in high school! (Although the entire jazz band dressing up in Star Wars character costumes - GOOD ones - to play Cantina Band during the school talent show comes close.)

Pauli and the Wheel of Time

I stopped to talk to Pauli on the way to work today, as per usual, only this time I saw she was carrying a copy of The Path of Daggers! I exclaimed something and pulled out the copy of The Shadow Rising, as I'm currently rereading the series for the 3rd-4th? time. It was very exciting. I think that I should buy her a copy of A Game of Thrones, since that series is (imho) even better than Wheel of Time. Then I can write contact information in there so we can continue being friends. I need to hurry, though - she said that the last day of class was Tuesday.

Flour Bakery - today's free lunch

Today's free lunch (bought by a sales representative at work) was from the Flour Bakery and Cafe. All I had was a half a sandwich and a small triangle of brownie, and OMG DELICIOUS. The sandwich was roast chicken, avacado, and jicama. It was spicy and tangy and yummy all over. I'm sad that I'm all full because some of their other sandwiches look amazing, too. I'll just have to take one home. :D

moving sucks

No SCA event for me tomorrow. Moving tomorrow. I'm trying to use the avoidance stress technique, so I don't want to go into it, but some things fell through and we just scrambled around to get some help and all that's really possible is doing things tomorrow. I find moving more important than SCA stuff, so there you go. Hope you guys have fun.
