Awesome - through Craigslist I found someone who lives about a block away selling a window air conditioning unit for $50! Woot! And yes, it looks clean and he claims it works and I checked the BTU rating against what size my room needs, etc etc.

So, I'll possibly pick it up tonight. And then when it gets hot again (because, amusingly, we're having a cold snap) I'll have AC in my room! Yay!

Also, I took my late library books back, and they waived my fine. I guess it was so little they didn't care. (I know it was under $1.)

Oh, right - I am totally badass, because I carried the AC a couple blocks from this guy's house to mine. I figure, I'm going for a massage tomorrow - I'll work my back a bit today!

Sometimes a home-cooked meal is worth the cooking and cleaning.

Leftover pot roast, cubed, warmed in its leftover broth and poured over fresh-made mashed potatoes. Broccoli with seasoned salt on the side. Milk. Yum.

Also, I am watching the "music video" episode of Babylon 5. 4x17 - The Face of the Enemy. The part in the club with Garibaldi and Sheridan. It looks like a 80s glam rock video.
