juldea: (sleepy)
Yup, tired again this morning. Although so much so that I don't even feel peppy enough to respond to LJ comments. :P

Perhaps because (1) it's rainy and (2) I'm cold. This stupid company needs to figure out its thermostat settings.

Desk calendar: "Living in this world with assigned roles, rather than an authentic self, drains you of the critical life energy you need for the constructive pursuit of things that you truly value."

Since both webcomics and Ayn Rand have been topics of conversation lately, I give you: Kiki Shrugged, a Sluggy-Freelance-characters-drawn-by-Bruno-the-Bandit's-cartoonist adventure (it's only one page of comics, it won't take you long to enjoy.)

Today I went to Johara's intermediate level bellydance class. Before attending the class, I was very very excited. I was exclaiming, "I'm going to bellydance!" After attending the class, I was very disappointed. And the fact that I was disappointed made me very sad. Back to square, well, two now, I guess.

Also disappointing: it's been about two years since I've seen myself bellydancing in a mirror in a classroom setting. There's noticably more of me in the mirror now. *sigh*

Tonight's food experiment brought to you by the thought, "Hey, I have this mango..."

Also: I have no clue if I'm supposed to be at work tomorrow. When I left I told a co-worker, "See you tomorrow," and he said, "No, see you Monday!" At the time I assumed he was taking tomorrow off. Since then I have heard mention that tomorrow is a mourning holiday. I, however, do not have the phone number of anyone to call and ask. I suppose I will just get up and go, and if I get to turn around and head right back home, well, good for me.
