sketchy... but fun and promising

Words to describe myself (or the situation I was in) over the past 40ish hours:

nervous - insane - relieved - approving - amused - interested - giggly - hungry - cold - sleepy - confused - warm - reassured - cuddly - relaxed - hot - content - happy - thoughtful - exhausted

To summarize: Mad props to learnedax. He said, "I think you'll get along with this friend of mine," and I do. We get along quite well, in fact.

Update on OTHER current situations:

I retrieved the broken stub of my bike-lock key from the lock. I have a spare key here at home, so tonight/tomorrow when I visit the gym I'll attempt to use the spare to unlock the bike.. and if the lock is really still jammed, well, I'll be SOL when it comes to having a bike I guess.

Also, I found that my one crimson red wool suit is smaller than the others (although still too large for me), and therefore I can manage alterations tonight that will make it wearable. Me and my l33t seamstress sk1llz.

So, landing in DC in 24 hours. Freaky.

Man, I need sleep. But other, more important, issues first. Like catching up on 2 days' worth of LJ, of course! ;)
