I had a good dream followed by a HORRIBLE dream! I'll recount the horrible one first... that's how it should've been, if I had to have a horrible dream, it should've been followed by a good dream....

There's not much to it. I was driving in the dark, on a busy highway, in the rain, trying to get somewhere I was late to meet my mom. The gas tank was almost empty. There were orange and white striped barriers in my lane on the highway so I moved to the other lane, only I didn't move back when I was supposed to, and when I went over a hill there was a big pile of oncoming traffic. I swerved a few times, and of course I ended up hitting someone, spinning around, and watching as all these other cars crashed into each other in a big pile-up I caused. When my car stopped, I was crushed head-to-head into this other car and I could see the driver not moving. At that point I made myself wake up. :P

Now, the other dream, which I should've had last because it left me feeling happy. Jim and I were living in a much neater apartment, style-wise, and we were throwing a party. I had put off getting ready and it was time to shower, only that's when people started showing up. So I was walking around, half-dressed or naked, letting people in. And no one cared really, it was like a big party game of me pretending to have to stick my head around doorways and such so that no one would see me naked, but if I wouldn't nothing would happen. At some point I miraculously was ready (the details not detailed in the dream) and there was another knock on the door. I went to open it, and [livejournal.com profile] duke_nemmerle was there. He came in, grabbed my shoulders in a good way, pulled me towards him with a devious smile, and gave me a very surprising and enjoyable kiss! Which I suppose my brain considered an event not to try to top, and that dream ended there. Or at least that's all I remember.

I'm assuming the first dream means that if I make my decisions based on what will please my mother (and rest of family), it won't turn out well. The second dream seems to indicate that I should throw a party, be naked, and visit St. Louis. Grin.

Oklahoma: full leg + bikini wax: $75
Massachusetts: full leg + bikini + navel wax + manicure: $70

Amazing.
The manicure was total whim, I was interested and it was cheap. It was all right. I messed up two of my nails within 5 minutes of them being polished, of course ;)

I feel... girly.

This possibly should be in [livejournal.com profile] three_kingdoms instead of my personal journal, but seeing as it deals with specific guild stuff and ME stuff I'll put it here. :)

For those that don't know, one way that the knights' guild honors people is by putting a statue of them at the entrance to the guild. Only one person can be on the statue at a time. It shows up as "An Honorary Statue of Player" in the room, and has a personalized plaque written by a player admin that details how cool and nifty that player is and what they've done.

I've been a knight for 5 years now, and I've never had a statue. It just didn't happen. I can't say why, I just didn't get noticed, or something... but I've been promoted to admin, so it doesn't make sense. Sometimes when I'm taking the mud too seriously it'll get to me.

And then, today, this conversation happens (Kirwan is the Guild Master, head player admin):

Kirwan tells you: want a job? if you're up to it, you could see about replacing the statue with someone new. dokken has been up there for a little over a month now.
You tell Kirwan: hrmm
You tell Kirwan: sure thing, I'll have it done within a day or two
From afar, Kirwan beams complete happy radiance at you.
Kirwan tells you: you're fantastic. thank you!
You tell Kirwan: no CMs, right?
Kirwan tells you: well, I think we've all probably been done before... or not?
You tell Kirwan: heh I haven't ;)
You tell Kirwan: dunno about others
Kirwan tells you: NO WAY!
You tell Kirwan: yes way
From afar, Kirwan boggles at you.
Kirwan tells you: ummmm, forget I asked you about this. I'll handle it. :)

YAY
Finally. Grin.
Heh. I'm so much of a dork that this makes me cry. I bet the actual statue, depending on what he puts for the plaque, will have me bawling like a baby.
Well hey, 5 years is a long time. I'm justified.
