I've really messed up my sleep schedule lately. Here's a short synopsis:
Saturday: up at 9. don't think I took a nap anytime, but it's possible. was up until 2:30am playing computer games with brendan and chris.
Sunday: slept/stayed in bed until 4:30pm. went to bed at 6am.
Monday (today): woke up at 9am. napped from 5:30 to 10ish. still up now... wonder when I'll get to bed. I should wake up tomorrow at 8.
So, blegh.
Interesting things that happened today:
Pad Thai - one of my best visits ever. I arrived and Num was there, wearing a Pad Thai t-shirt! I exclaimed over it, and he said he would get me one. Then he offered to make me special flat noodle pad thai, and I accepted. Some new boy then dished out my lunch special, and since he asked "do you want anything else? some of this?" of course I took. So I ended up with: flat noodle pad thai, steamed rice, red tofu curry, basil pork, and beef in oyster sauce. And a spring roll. And Dr. Pepper. Most of the pad thai came home, since it came to my table after the rest of the food had been stuffed in. MMmmm. Then, Num started talking to me about what I do on weekends, and invited me to go clubbing with his big group of friends that goes every weekend!! He said I could bring friends if I want, so if anyone is interested in going to check out City Walk sometime, let's go.
After that, appointment with Dr. Hulsey - since it was late in the day they were behind as usual, but I didn't have to really care since I had nothing to really do. After finally being in a room with Dr. Hulsey and my lab test results, the following comes from his mouth (approximately): "Well, tested negative for anemia... no diabetes... hmmm... where's the thyroid on this chart?" *turns paper over, checks next page* "Hold on, let me make sure I got all of it." *leaves room, returns in a few minutes* "Yeah, we asked them to do it, but they didn't."
So yeah, the one test that we were really interested in, the lab didn't process. Dumbasses. Now I have to wait another week... I went in and gave them more blood. I'm supposed to call Dr. H in a week, and he wants to talk to me personally about this. Interesting, eh? Then I go in and see him the next Monday.
After that, I went in to Papa John's and did paperwork stuff. I'm going to start work on Thursday at 4, but I can't remember when I get off that night. Then I also work on Saturday from 10-3 at night. Wheebop. I got lots of silly handbooks. From previous work experience, I know that the handbook is really just corporate fluff and I don't need to memorize its every word, but what if Jeremy (I think that was his name) really wants me to recite to him the "8 procedures of delivery"? Hmm.
My schedule for the next week will be made on Friday, so when I come in on Saturday I'll know what's up. It's cool, every week I get to make a list of preferred hours and available hours and put them in. I like that kind of flexibility.
Not sure what to do now. Should I attempt to sleep? Sew? Practice bass?
