I'm grumpy.

I slept from about 2am to 9am. Goldbug woke me up at 8, but I didn't wake up really. I went back to bed. I'm still sleepy. I've been very bad about being at Saxon on time in the morning. Even after changing "on time" from 8am to 9am.

I have the phone still on forward, and I'm answering calls as I see fit. People will just have to deal. Everyone has bad days sometimes.

is there any way i can be more effective at waking you up? should i jump on you?

it's hard to do much when i'm half-asleep and grumpy myself.

Thank you for being willing :)

Getting me out of bed and into the shower or washing my face is probably a really good step. Once I'm on the road to clean and dressed, it's hard to stop.

I suppose I should rephrase what happened earlier. You really did wake me up, yay! But I decided I wanted to keep sleeping instead of shower, but then I kept sleeping too long. =P

julia! julia!! JULIA! turn off the fucking alarm!
(10 minutes later) aren't you supposed to be awake? are you sure you want to sleep longer?
etc etc etc. it's much easier when you're awake yourself, though. :)

Hehehe. True, the questioning helps... "Are you sure you want to sleep longer?"

You should maybe remind me that I'm losing $10 for every hour I stay in bed, grin.

sometimes in the mornings i am awoken by the musical sound of the guy upstairs peeing. the part where he shakes out the last drops always send me into gales of scratchy early-morning laughter..

wee for communal living! (or should i say pee?)

Wow, that's pretty funny. I don't think I've ever lived somewhere with walls that thin (or floors and ceilings!)

I was having a particularly rotten day today. Walking home in the unfamiliar cold didn't help my mood. As I was feeling grumbly, a truck made a u-turn and pulled up alongside me. The lady in the truck offered me a ride home! She'd just finished OU softball practice, saw me walking in the same direction she was driving and thought I shouldn't have to shiver the rest of my way home. Well... long story short... I hope that your day turned around, too!

Well, work was just horrid, but I had a good time eating my thai food for lunch and sharing some with waylon, brendan, and goldbug. And then I played video games with brendan, and that was fun. Then it was time for band practice, which was good but not necessarily fun, although parts of it were fun. It was probably not as fun as it would have been if I wasn't really sleepy. But I am. So it's bedtime soon.
