juldea: (sleepy)
I woke up today at about 12:30. At 1, I told Brendan (through ICQ) that I had an urge for sit-down lunch with friends. Tiffany was also on ICQ, and he immediately asked if she was invited. So we began discussing where we would eat, who would be invited, etc.

This started around 1.

We left Norman at 3 ;)

We (Brendan, Thom and I) met Tiffany in Weatherford, and we ate at a very ghetto Chinese restaurant. The appetizer tray that Thom and I shared was very neat, though. It had it's own mini-grill for us to put our vegetable shish-ka-bobs on.

We left Weatherford at 6, and after a stop at the Hotel to drop Thom off and pick up Brendan's dirty laundry, I took Brendan to his mom's house. I went inside to see the play room (which will soon be the Gæa Spore practice room) and ended up staying for dinner (I can't turn down portabello mushrooms). Then we watched the season premiere of Enterprise on tape, as well as two other episodes. We had ice cream and bear claws. It was a decadent night.

It's now 1:30am, and I'm home. All in all, I spent a lot of time relaxing and having fun with friends tonight, but of course that means that I didn't get any homework or studying done... and I didn't spend any time with Jason.

I am very very sad that the fun and the Jason can't coexist. I have to choose one or the other (assuming by fun I mean outside recreation with other friends). *sigh*

Does life ever get slow again? Am I doomed to steal my relaxation time and put other parts of my life at risk to have fun every once in a while?

I'm quitting History of Science.

I'm sitting in the lab and eating a pomegranite. It's getting juice everywhere. I love food that takes hours to eat!

Um, I did it again.

I have yet another new cell phone number

Basically I found out that contrary to my beliefs, it WAS long distance to call Jason on my old phone. And Cingular wireless has this great promotional plan of 150 anytime + 3000 night and weekend minutes for $35, which is just a bit more than what my dad WAS paying for no long distance and 200 minutes a month... wow eh? The only drawback is that 150 anytime minutes a month isn't all that much. Oh, well, during the day I should be easy to find anyway and you shouldn't need a cell.

So... 405-317-5863. If it helps, you can think of it at 31-plume. I'm not sure that helps though. They couldn't give me 405-JJSUGGS. I was sad. I will still have the other number for a few more days before I get it disconnected.

Also: 4053175863@mobile.mycingular.com for text messages. Or just use LJ. I still need to find out if I have a limit on text messages.

I just found out that the phone number for the physics department spells out "3 blew 61". I will never, ever, forget this.

I also bought an atlas today. I love road maps. Maybe I should look for a career doing something that involves road trips and reading maps?

My pomegranite isn't even STARTING to be empty. Yum.

Pixel is very interested in pomegranites, but does not want to eat them.
