The Tool show was very good. It was loud, but not so bad as to make my hearing go. My voice might be gone in the morning though. Yelling, and WAYYY too much smoke.

I had an awesome seat. If you were standing in the middle of the stage facing the audience, and pointed out a 30 degree angle to your left and went out about 50 feet, there I was. And there were very few people in front of me; being on the 3rd row and all.

There ended up being this really nice group (2 guys and a girl) of people who came to illegal sit near me and we made friends. The girl was Michelle and the guys, brothers, were Ben and Brad, I think. I'm positive about Brad. Ben was Michelle's boyfriend. They were really neat, didn't hog my space, and gave me lots of free beer. I didn't pay for a single beverage there all night. I think I got about 2 free beers out of them. They also offered me mushrooms, but I politely declined. I had to be able to find Chris and Elise when the show was over. ;)

While I was gone, my cell phone (at the Happiness Hotel) rang a lot. If you belong to one of these numbers, please tell me: 520-5242 or 250-2648. My phone says only those two numbers called me all night, so I don't know about this insistence by Brendan and Chris that the phone was ringing off the hook (which it doesn't have).

My roller sneakers came in today! Maybe I will wear them tomorrow. :)

Well I think it's about bedtime. G'nite!

I'm lying in bed next to Rachel, about 7:45am, thinking about my 8:30 class (P math) and how I am caught up sufficiently and don't want to go.

I decide to walk into the living room and look at the syllabus to see what we're doing in class today, and if there will homework due on Friday.

I see: Oct. 22 Test 2

You know, Monday.

While I was in bed.

How am I gonna get out of THAT one?

(well yes, by emailing the professor and seeing what can be done)

I think I attempt to hide it, but I really am a fuckup.

I'd say, "Why do I even try?", but I don't try.

Why do I even pretend to try?

The floor mat in my office is really good for roller sneakers. So is the tile-floored breakroom. And the halls in Nielson hall. The sidewalks on campus are good, but treacherous - lots of obstacles, both in reference to bumps/cracks/debris on the ground, and people. But I haven't fallen once! Just gotten very close to. The skates are hard to keep control of. It took me a whole lot of leg muscles to skate around Nielson from the north side door to the east side where my bike was located. My legs want to go off in different directions all the time.

The best part was holding on to Brendan's backpack and skating behind him down the hall in Nielson. :)

I saw Nui today in Pad Thai. He came in as I was leaving. I got a hug, and his hand lingered on mine while we kind of touched goodbye. Maybe Jason should learn to cook thai food so that Nui isn't a threat. ;)

It's funny how I have to go back to skip 30 to catch up on all the comments of my friends' posts. I'm so addicted.

I'm at home. I'm not going to dance class tonight. I'm going to... do work? I don't know. I hope so?

Jason bought a new computer game today. Dark Ages of Camelot. New MMORPG, supposedly rather kick-ass and "what Everquest should have been". Should I be telling people this? I'm kind of interested myself... Too bad it won't work on my 233mhz work computer, or I'd go out and buy it tonight. I have enough willpower to not buy it for my laptop when I have work to do. Plus I don't know how to check if I have the right graphics stuff.

Dammit! I need a badass desktop for home.

I need friends. The Destroyer thinks it needs food, but it doesn't. Need need. Someone get online and talk to me! Or come over. Homework party?

jesus I want this

And I can customize it and bring down the cost by about $500. If you want to see, start on that page above, click on customize, and then on "retrieve quote". My quote ID is juldea@ou.edu-64828. OOoohhh sweet temptation...

It's too much meat for me to handle right now, but jesus, if I agree to pay it off in some kind of 4-year plan, it'll be enough for me then... right?
