My neck hurts a LOT. I'm not sure if it's from pilates things I did wrong, or from holding the phone in a weird position last night. Blah. There's just this ONE muscle...

Have we decided on a theme for the April dinner party?

Depending on the size of my Papa John's paycheck today, my car might get paid off this afternoon! Woohoo!!

April 11th. One month. Also 4 weeks and 2 days. Meep.

Today has been very busy at work. Chris will be glad I made it. 20 calls so far, and we've only been open 3 of our 9 hours. I gotta stop working mornings. ;)

Yes, I know. He was talking about that to me yesterday. I'm not sure I really dig that idea. Seems to prone to the only problem I had with the last dinner party - someone bringing just any random food they like, and stretching it to make it fit the theme. I put a LOT of thought into mine.

The way I see it, if some people don't put any though into theirs, that's fine. If some people bring food that doesn't fit the theme at all, that's fine too. The theme is there for if you can't think of what to bring, and if you put a lot of thought into it, then that is to your benefit. But if you put a lot of work into cooking something that doesn't have any bearing on the theme, then it's still good food and I, for one, will appreciate it. Personally, I don't really think the theme is what's important. I think that lots of food and people are what's important.

But I think themes are really really fun and if we're going to have one at all, we should have one that inspires people to follow the theme.
