juldeaI'm FINALLY caught up on all of your posts!! That only took days and days...
Yesterday I woke up at 9am (Jim kicked me off the computer at 11:30 the night before at my request - threatened the pull the plug even!). I fooled around for too long in the morning, and got a late start into town. The T station is about as far from my apartment as the campus bus stops on South Oval are from Parkview. It's really weird to realize that if I'm late, I can't make up the time in transit - the T takes a fairly set amount of time, is hardly faster, and often slower than it should. So I need to work more on getting ready EARLY. Heh.
So anyway, I took the T into Harvard Square and met up with Jim, Quinn, and Jen. She plays Cat on 3k, is Jim's ex from a while back, and is now engaged! Yay!
We went out to eat, and I realized just how quickly I'm going through money. Bad, bad. I don't want to have to get a job yet! ;)
Quinn and I came home and borrowed Jim's car, a VW Golf, for a trip to the store (with Jim's permission). For not having driven a standard in a long, long time I did a great job, in my opinion. Quinn had less faith in me and drove the return trip home. Bah.
Now we have a kitchen full of food, and an apartment still full of boxes. I really need to unpack, but there's so much more to do... guild stuff (I got reinstated as admin), OMP writeups, catching up with people... blah.
Holy crap, I need to call family members. They don't know I'm even here yet. :P
