juldeaBoyd and I are meant to be together.
Boyd is a boy who orders pizza from Papa John's. Last week, while at Pad Thai with Karen and Lyle, we were asked to move to another table so that the big group of 6 who came in after us could put our (current) table together with another to make enough room for them all. I recognized one of the boys in the group as someone I had delivered pizza to, amazingly enough. And he recognized me! We shared a brief amused recognition of one another, and then had our separate meals. Then, half a week later, he walked into my pilates class to fix some setup in the corner for some other class. Class was over at that point, so I walked by him and said, "Hi, Pizza Boy!" Then, tonight, another driver and I were figuring out how to divvy up pizza deliveries, and I was originally going to take something to the dorms but the other driver ended up taking it, and I went elsewhere... to Boyd's house. It was very strange. I hope he doesn't think I'm stalking him. I'm not sure Boyd is his name, that's what was on the box, but he also lived on Boyd St... He tips decently. ;)
Also, in a completely separate incedent, I was going from one delivery in the Eagle Cliff subdivision (south of HI-9) to another delivery in the same area when I passed a cat running along the road. Think not much of it, until I arrive at the door of the next house and they ask me worriedly, "Have you seen a cat?" It was too dark and I wasn't paying enough attention to give them a perfect match to their description, but they headed off to the area where I saw the cat anyway. I hope they found him/her. It makes me wonder what if I had stopped when I saw the cat, and it had a collar with the address of my next pizza delivery on it. THAT would've been weird. Maybe the next time I see a stray animal I will look for a collar before driving on by.
