I just unenrolled from University Marching Band. I briefly cried.

Trying to juggle it, classes I've already failed once, 2 p/t jobs, and a long-distance relationship would be too difficult. It would take too many hours and days from my life - the 4pm-6pm rehearsals almost every weekday; the saturdays, holidays, and vacation times gone for football games.

But hopefully, I won't be without music in my life. Dammit, I have instruments, I don't need an ensemble to play with. I can play on my own.

But making music with people, people who want to be there just as much as you do, is just so fantastic...
