I just had the most wonderful dream.

I came walking down a pretty little bridge and saw a party of Normanites sitting in the grass a little ways off. I know Waylon was wearing grey shorts and a dark blue polo shirt with little green stripes. I sent someone to get him for me (I don't know why I didn't approach the place myself) and he and I talked about Ty and Elizabeth (talked romance about both, heehee) and then looked at some little electronic toys - robot bugs that either shot water at you, or glowed in the dark, or a host of other silly things.

Then we ran into goldbug, and I gave Waylon a goodbye and started walking with her. She was heading to Boston College (right down the street from me here) to meet Karen. I told her what I actually wanted to tell her in real life (so listen up, goldbug!): in architecture, non-accessability SUCKS.

(backstory: Adriana and I went to Boston C. yesterday to get some paperwork for her, a BC grad. They literally, seriously, disturbingly HID the handicapped access ramps. Several times we had to go around to the back of a building to enter, and the library was horrible. It was a very wide building, with stairs covering the front although the doors were off to the left side, and ALL the way down the end on the right the ramp was hidden behind a wall. It was quite a walk out of our way. Plus, once inside we had to use a back elevator to get upstairs, and borrow a special key from the front desk so that we could get from the elevator to the ramp entrance to the student computing center, and even THEN the door to THAT was locked and I went around to the stepped-entrance tell the staff there that my friend in a wheelchair was waiting at the other entrance. ARGH. The whole experience really bothered me.)

Anyway, goldbug and I met up with Karen, and we walked around BC for a while. Luckily, since being there with Adriana yesterday, I knew which building to go into to get the paperwork Karen needed. Interestingly enough, the building was full of water (think aquarium), but it didn't leak out when we opened the door and we could walk and breathe in it fine, so we didn't worry.

I was telling Karen where to go and we were walking through the common room when my cell phone rang. I looked around me for it, but couldn't see it. The sound seemed to be coming from behind me at all times, even if I turned around...

I'm sure you can guess what's next. :) I woke up, and missed the call. Doh! If you called me, let me know!

All in all, that was a VERY pleasant dream, full of idle talk and hanging out with some of my favorite people.
