There's a new manager-in-training at Papa John's. Her name is Pamela, and she's really dumb. She thought that "pheta" was a greek letter - wrote down that an address was the "phi delta pheta" house. I grumbled that pheta was a cheese, not a greek letter.
She also wrote down that a delivery was going to the Sooner Hotel, room 219, with the phone number being the Sooner Hotel's number and extension 323. I woke up some poor guy in room 219 before noticing the phone number was different. I then called the number and asked for Michelle, which was printed on the box, and the voice said, "You mean Michael?" I felt bad.
I delivered to Morrison Ct. today. :)
I also did my taxes today! Let me tell you, goldbug is the tax guru. She helped me a lot. When I first figured things, I owed over $600 in taxes! Then I figured out that I can't be claimed by my dad as a dependent (he doesn't pay over 1/2 my living expenses), and goldbug helped me figure out the lifetime learning tax credit and the Oklahoma state sales tax relief forms. Imagine my surprise when I find out I actually get money back after all of that! I get $50 back from the federal gov't, but owe $32 to state, so I'll end up with $20ish extra. :) That's much, much better than owing $600.
I have decided I will go on my spring break trip sometime around the second week of March, right after my birthday. Sacramento, beware! :)
I finished 4 sewing projects today. I feel very productive.
Now I must get my beauty sleep before my big date with Num tomorrow. ;)
