My back hurts a lot. It didn't start until just now. But just now I finished a 3-hour-long cleaning stint. That big pile in my bedroom (which was previously in the living room) is gone. I feel ready now to tackle storage and packing for the summer. Having everything clean first (and put away) is a good start to that.

Saturday is Matrix's and my one-year anniversary. I love her.

I didn't find anything as amusing as "waylong cok" in my cleaning. I did, however, find 8 books. I think it's a measure of greatness in a person, how many books they find hiding around their house. It means that those books travel off of the bookshelf.

There's also a large pile of stuff for people. [livejournal.com profile] withlyn, [livejournal.com profile] reyjadan, [livejournal.com profile] dervish, [livejournal.com profile] nemoalia, [livejournal.com profile] starfruit, and each of my parents have stuff in this pile. And maybe others whom I haven't named.

Last, before I go to bed, I want to describe the amusing sight I found. While putting things away I left the hall closet open, and I saw Pixel's tail disappearing inside. I didn't mind much - she would crawl around among all the crap in there and eventually come out. Then, I was putting away my small suitcase. I have two - a large and a small, and I store them with the small inside the large, to save space. Well, I opened the closet, took the cat carrier off of the large suitcase, and reached to unzip it more than halfway. But a cat was looking out at me from inside the suitcase, through the unzipped portion of the zipper!! Pixel had crawled in there to sit. I think it's a sign that she wants to go with me to Boston. Poor baby, if it were as easy as putting her in a suitcase, I would. But it's not that easy.

Now it's bedtime.
