I have had a very interesting day. It goes like this:

My alarm goes off at 7 this morning. I wake up enough to know that there is no way I'm waking up the rest of the way. Over the next few hours of hitting the snooze button every 7 minutes, I realize that my body is producing mucus like it's going out of style. Basically, I'm sick. Ucky yucky sick. I think I was even hallucinating a bit, I kept thinking goldbug was near my bed looking at me, and I would tell her to call work and tell them I wasn't coming in, but she slept longer than I did so that didn't happen. I eventually got up at 2:00 (I had gone to bed at 11:30) and put on some clothes and gone into goldbug's room to find out if she had to be awake at any certain point - and to whine about being sick. So I woke her up, and she had been to sleep for a reasonable time and so didn't complain about me waking her up too much. We were both hungry, and basically convinced each other to go to Pad Thai before it closed, but with the minimal amount of effort - goldbug was in pajamas and I was in my clothes from yesterday, but without any bra or underwear, I hadn't showered in two days or washed my face that morning, had a hat on to cover my dirty hair, and wore glasses instead of taking the time to put on contacts.

We got our food to go, but Num heard me from the back and made me flat noodle pad thai without me asking. He came out and I told him I was very happy about that, and he said I definitely sounded sick. I found out that since he made the pad thai, the other girl decided that she wouldn't waste space in the styrofoam container and basically gave me twice as much food of the normal-entree variety than I normally get. Normally, to go, they use those 3-space containers that have one big space and two little ones, and the pad thai goes in the big space and the other foods go one apeice in the little spaces. This time one entree went in the big space and the other took up the two little spaces. Wow.

We came home and ate, and knock knock knock it was Brendan at the door, telling me there was a big package at his house for me to help open! It was about 2:30, and I had a doctor's appointment at 4:30, and Brendan had some other stuff to do including going by the storage area to get Chris's bed - the storage area where Penny's couch was, which goldbug and I wanted to use. So we worked out a deal... Brendan waited around while I took a shower (which made me feel much better), and then we went to his house to get Chris and unwrap the bass, which is wonderful-looking! And my size! I like it a lot. Then we all three went to the storage place and got out Chris's bed. By this time it was about 4:15, so Brendan dropped me off at the doctor's office and he and Chris went back to take the bed to their house, and then Brendan took Chris to work at 5. Brendan came back then, I assume, but I wasn't done yet (or at least not out waiting for him) so he went shopping for archery stuff. The next time he came by, about 5:30, I was there! So we went back to the storage center and got the couch - a big big big heavy thing. Getting it out by ourselves was quite a feat! I'm surprised I survived! We also got a dresser out for Brendan. We took the dresser to Brendan's house, and then drove to my house where Brendan dropped me off. He went and picked up his mom from work (it was after 6), and then returned and we moved the couch into the living room.

Huff! Puff!! Now I am sitting here, in a room with a couch! So far Pixel has explored it and is sitting on it now, but Matrix has stayed in my room. I gave enough room behind the couch for cats to run through, I hope they appreciate it. They also can run between the couch and the chair. Their food had to move closer to me, but that's not a big deal.

I am happy with the living room setup. There is still a lot of room in the middle, not quite as much as before and front-to-back aerobics movements will be curtailed, but side-to-side is still wide open and good. Hooray!

Moving the rug for DDR will be more difficult, but I think it can be done. It just involves getting the rug out from under the TV setup and rolling it towards the couch. It'll be crowded, but not a bad thing.

*blow nose again*

My nose is all chapped. *sigh* I hope I start feeling better...
