Oh, wow! I went over 24 hours without a post! Fear that, eh...

Last night was band practice, of course. I think we're finally at a "beginning" point, where we can launch off with new stuff and new arrangements because we're all going to stay in the band, dammit. ;) I've added the mandolin to the list of instruments I'm starting to learn how to play, and I'm very happy about that.

Let's see. I did a stupid thing this morning. I knew that Brendan and I had to leave by 1 to get to Tiffany's all-state choir recital. So I decided to get up at 11:00. That would give me time to exercise and shower (generally an hour there) and then time to go to Goodwill and interview, and then go get Brendan. So when I woke up on my own at 10ish, I went back to bed. Doh! I woke up at 11:30 then, and rolled out of bed to get started on my stuff. But... Jason was online. I sat down to talk to him a bit, and the next thing I know, it's noon. So I decide to skip working out to just shower and go to Goodwill. But after showering and dressing and taking vitamins and medicines and feeding the cats and other things, it's almost 1:00, and I have to drop some things off at Karen's and... blah. So I didn't go by Goodwill. It wasn't a FORMAL interview, just a "come by on Saturday, in the afternoon time", so I hope I haven't ruined my chances of working there.

The concert was very good. Too many godsongs in my opinion, but hey - that's Oklahoma public schools. I wonder what they would do if a kid made the honor choir and then objected to singing some of the songs because of their content. We got good seats and could see Tiffany while she sang! She had a very awesome sparkly dress on. And while I couldn't hear her individually, I could hear the soprano ones as a whole, and damn - impressive.

Afterwards, the three of us went out to Sushi Plus. That was damn good food, once again. I ate one piece of sushi with raw fish, just because I think it's necessary to have at least one if you're a non-vegetarian at a sushi place. Then I stuffed myself with the cooked andor vegetarian ones. And some of the chinese buffet food they also serve. It was expensive, but worth it.

Then it was back to Brendan's for a while... For hanging out. Cynthia being silly. A bit of jamming on the bass. Reading Ender's Game. Cynthia and Tiffany had to leave, eventually, and then it was time to hook up the CD-RW to the computer and start playing with Gaea Spore music. I listened and read for a while more, and then it was midnight and I decided to come home.

I have decided to do a new thing in mornings. If you have ICQ or AIM, you will find out what it is by checking my away message after I go to bed. ;) I am doing this out of sheer necessity to get into a set routine.

Felt a bit spacy in small doses today, but not nearly as bad as yesterday, and my stomach felt a lot better too. Maybe it was a fleeting reaction?
