bass blisters

My pointer fingers are letting me know that I played bass with them a lot last night. As if I didn't know already. :) It was a good band practice. It would've been more fun if I were less tired, but I was sleepy, so it was just good.

I listened to Chase's Radiohead mixed tape for a while here at work. It had to be background music more than I like when listening to a tape for the first time, but that's the difficulty with work. I think they sound a lot like what I think of as "old U2"... but I can't really specify what I mean by that. All the "old U2" I know is from the past, when my brother almost exclusively listened to U2.

Huh, I think I had something else to say in this post, but I don't know what it is, so I'll just keep on generally ranting until I remember...

My mom is supposed to come and take me out to dinner tonight :) Brendan, if you read this before work, can you work for me at 8pm-10pm? I can come and give you a ride home if necessary (my mom and I will probably take you home, but that would be cool because my mom wants to see the bass, and maybe we could play a bit for her).

Cingular wireless is dumb. My bill is due on the 13th. I signed up for automatic withdrawl, so I wouldn't have to worry about mailing something in every month. Guess when they withdraw it? Yep, today. So now if any checks attempt to be cashed tomorrow (and I have 3 or 4 out), they might bounce. I get paid on Friday, so if they just wait... grumble...

I'm really hungry. Can't wait for 2.

Well, I can't remember my other thing. I'll just post later if necessary.

Well, I'm not even sure my checks will bounce. My bank is good about that kind of thing, if I go overdrawn they just charge me $15 or so and that's all the penalty. So I'll just wait and see. Otherwise, now that I know, I'm okay with Cingular taking out the money at the beginning of the mongth instead of the middle, because I have more money in the bank usually in the beginning of the month than the end.

Bass playing is going great!! I'm really glad to be learning it, and I think I'm learning fast. I think I impressed the guys last night even. *flex*
