1 July 2001 23:59I met Logan in the Parkview parking lot while dropping by Brian's house to pick up his computer, and he (Logan) asked me, "How many hours?" It actually took me a few repeats of that question to go, "Oh!" and calculate for him. He exhibited surprise that I didn't know off the top of my head. I really DON'T count it down every hour, just every time I think about it I do the calculations. For example... right now it's 1.5 hours less than 5 days, which is 120 - 1.5 = 118.5. I like how rapidly it's dropping towards 100. :)
Rented a couple of movies today to chase away some time. First movie, which I watched alone during the afternoon, was Unbreakable. Very nifty but kind of slow paced... it's an action film without the speed of an action film. Didn't quite outguess the ending but about 5 minutes before it, speculated on the possibility of it. So Scot has one up on me there, he said he figured it out beforehand. I felt myself kind of wishing that I was the kind of person that the main character is, but I guess we superheroes all have different strengths and weaknesses. :)
Other movie I rented, and watched tonight with Randen and Brian, was Neon Genesis Evangelon eps. 1 and 2. I don't think I've seen enough of the series yet to make a solid review, but I certainly had fun with what I saw. A little confusing at times... but that is the price you pay for getting a sub and not a dub (thankfully). I'll probably watch it again sometime before it is due back.
I've got $31 to last me through the week. Good thing I already have bread and milk. ;)
I wonder when my Pokemon episodes will arrive... *bounce*. The emails say that the first day to look for them is the 10th. I wonder what they will do if they are delivered while I'm not here? I wonder if that is why I never got the Yes CDs? *ponder* Maybe I should start getting things delivered to my office instead... heh heh heh.
Well, off to bed with my bipolar kittens... goodnight!
