It feels nice in here, I think it's 72 degrees. I hope goldbug doesn't turn off the heater when she gets home. I think it's weird, she turns it completely off instead of just turning it down. So it's off all night long, and the apartment gets all cold, and I have to shower in the morning when it's cold. I would be willing to give in on the temperature of the apartment at any other time if I could just have the heat stay on all night.

it's been off at night cause it's been broken...i didn't want it on when it was broken because apparently (as i suspected) the pilot light was the problem, and if it was on, it could have been spitting out gas that wasn't being burned. (bad)
now that it's working again, i'm not going to turn it off. anytime it was left off at night before it was broken was an oversight, like we turned it off playing ddr and didn't put it back on.
i think we should still have the guy come tomorrow and clean the filter or the fan or whatever. robert says that having a clean circulation system will greatly alleviate the problem of cat dander for allergic visitors.

you can go to home depot and buy a new filter for like $6. you're supposed to replace them once a month, and of course with apartment you're lucky if they do it once a year... so taking matters into your own hands is advised. its really easy. just buy the filter, cut it to size if it doesn't fit.. throw away the old one and put in the new one. be warned: if it hasn't been replaced lately, the old one will be NASTY.

i'll have to investigate...i'm not actually sure where this fabled filter IS, but that sounds like a good idea.

I already said it to you, but I want to make it public that I apologized to goldbug for sounding so bitchy about the temperature and the heater. I was tired and cold and feeling sick (as I still do), blah.
