I survived step aerobics class! That stuff is hardcore. I thought I could do some level 2, but with a 4" step there, no way. I had a 29 heartbeat at the midway point, so I slowed myself down and felt better during the latter half. *flex* I feel invincible!

The heater is broken. Goldbug and I are going to hopefully get it fixed tomorrow.

I fully respect and support your usage of the word hopefully in that way, and that's how I would use it, but since you like to be corrected, it's "supposed" to be an adverb meaning "with hope," which describes the manner of an action. So, you just said that you and Goldbug will be hopeful while getting the heater fixed, which is probably true, but not what you meant.

Aha! Very good, thank you.

Hopefully (full of hope), I called the physical plant tonight, and now someone is here fixing it! Hooray!

possibly because that's the way most people use it and so it is not entirely incorrect to use it that way - language is created and changed by the the way it is used, the meaning of words does no remain static.
