unprepared for Intercon

The amount to which I am unprepared for Intercon is astonishing. Luckily few people are seriously relying on me for serious stuff, but geez. The things I want to have packed that I don't:

* shoes that aren't winter boots
* shampoo and conditioner
* jewelry
* pajamas
* costuming options rather than what I decided on last-minute to wear for game
* different hairstyle options
* something to wear for the dance

It was such a good idea to only sign up for two games this year. x_x

The hotel rooms should have shampoo and conditioner, so you probably don't have to worry about that. Unless you only use special stuff on your hair; I could see that.

Yeah. Hotel stuff is acceptable, but not preferable. I thought I had travel bottles of my own stuff in my travel case, which I just threw into my bag this morning, but it turns out I don't. :/

What kind of costuming options were you hoping for? I brought some random stuff. Mostly it is generic random stuff for me to wear in the Collision Imminent horde, but depending on what you're doing, I might have something.

Well, I'm not in any games that require costuming out of "regular" clothes, by which I mean all of my games are roughly in this universe and time period, as far as clothing goes. Tonight at Eight, which is tonight, is all about dressing up for a blind date, and I have my awesome polka-dot dress which will probably do fine (except for lack of jewelry and proper shoes.) Tomorrow's run of Leash, however, involves a professional networking conference, plus a co-player who I'd like to be somewhat coordinated with, but that's not really going to happen at this point. I have a professional skirt and a button-down shirt, but I don't know if they look good together, and once again I have no shoes.

Mostly I'm having a crisis of body image and poverty. I want to be able to go out, find something that makes me look smashing, and buy it. Mreh.
