While apping for 1897 and because I have free time right now, I compiled a list of all the LARPs I have been in. This was only possible due to all of the old Intercon and Festival schedules still being online. There are possibly some gaps with regards to one-offs I don't remember being in, and there is a definite gap in that I went to Intercon Mid-Atlantic some year, but I don't remember which year, and I couldn't find any of their schedules online, so I just have vague memories of two games I played in but nothing more. (It was the year Orgia debuted, I believe.) If you care enough to notice that I didn't remember a game, do let me know. I'll probably go "durr" at myself for forgetting.

Campaigns:
Crossroads
Rage Across the Cape (with the occasional trip to Hidden Flame)
Strange Boston
Serendipity Station

Intercon Mid-Atlantic 200?:
the game with the spaceship simulator
the game where I was cross-cast as a fat Italian man

You played in Paranoia: Research and Dismemberment at SLAW, and probably some other games as well. :-)

It's gotten to the point where, when asked to say, "Describe your prior LARPing experience," I just write "a lot." Especially if it's a GM that knows me.

Same, esp. for Foam Brain LARPs. I was around for their inception, dammit! I larped before there was a Foam Brain!

I usually go with something like "I've been larping continuously since '93", Intercons since '95, writing since...it's complicated (but I've written a fair number of 4 hour games in teams and helped run four full weekend games) and have played in and run myriad short games and a not inconsiderable number of large ones."

"A lot" is a little low resolution, but I'm mixed on the value of keeping a running total of the games I've been involved in running, writing, or playing at this point.

At this point I will go with "a lot" if the GM knows me well enough to already know most of what's above (e.g. [livejournal.com profile] captainecchi :) Otherwise my terminology is usually, "I have attended X years of LARP cons such as Intercon plus numerous one-shots and a few campaigns." I never considered whether I should include information on running or writing games there, perhaps because I've done very little of both?
