juldeaWell, Livejournal wouldn't even load yesterday, much less let me update, so this one will have to do for the past few days.
So much to say! Saw LotR, was amazingly awesome. Even got all of us - well, almost all of us, Mike was working - in the theater. Me, Troy, Jed, Graham, and Scot (and Monique). After that, we went to Sunsplash, this arcade/water park/mini golf course/etc fun place and I finally played some DDR in an arcade. Did pretty well, stayed up on 5-footers but no As on those. Got to dance to Butterfly, which is a really fun track.
What else? Saw Dr. Strangelove as well, and drank some really good California pear cider (the alcoholic kind). Managed not to go overlimit on my credit card, or negative on my checking account. Got paid today so no chance of that, and I'm finally out of my hole (as I got a bonus today as well).
Last night, found a thai place in Sacramento that might challenge Sala Thai for goodness. I had a vegetable clay pot that was delicious, and ate some of Jed's "drunken noodles" which were yummy and spicy. Even Troy managed to find something to eat, and usually oriental food makes him sick. The only weird thing was that their spring rolls weren't fried, they were in fresh wrappers, which were soft and kind of moist and quite flavorless, heh. But I think I could've ordered them fried, I just chose the wrong thing. Oh well. The thai tea was good too. :)
Tonight, my last night, there's a show at a club in Sacramento that Troy, Jed, Graham, and I are going to. I don't know how to see Scot and Mike one more time before I leave, unless I find them today, but Mike is probably working and I don't know what Scot is doing. I guess I can call him and see... and maybe I can stop by Mike's on my way out tomorrow morning. His boys, Bobby and Dalton, are adorable. And they like me. I hope they grow up to know me. :)
Anyway, show tonight. I'm going to wear what I wore to the living room Gaea Spore show. ;) Goldbug seems to really like that outfit... And I'm going to stop drinking at 9 instead of 10, seeing as how stopping at 10 at the dinner party still left me quite regretting it the next morning. Oh well, I probably just didn't drink enough water.
Goldbug - I will call you on your cell when I'm about an hour from town, so that you can come over and meet me at my place and give me my keys. I have no clue what time that might be, but if it'll be late I'll let you know. If I'm in Amarillo and it's already 10, or something, I'll call you then and let you know.
Two of Troy's cats really love me, because I give them attention. I miss my babies. Pixel will probably shun me for weeks.
Soon is the Dark Party... and Jason coming... and goldbug moving in.... things just seem so much happier recently.
