First off: I'm not being a hypochondriac here. My mother has for years told me that I might have inherited her hypothyroidism, but I never looked into it because my mom can be a freak like that. But today, while talking to David the psychologist about medication, I happened to mention it, and he, well, perked up. He told me I should get a physical and get it checked out. So I looked up some stuff when I got to work, and this is what I found. Now, far be it for me to diagnose myself without a blood test or anything, but I think my symptoms very very closely match what is listed there. As to the constipation part, well... since I never engage of conversation about the frequency at which people have trouble with that, I don't know if I have a problem with it or not. ;) We can keep it that way, don't worry, I'm okay having 5/6 symptoms, or whatever.

So anyway, anyone have a primary care physician they wish to recommend? I should probably get a physical anyway, it's been years...

I'm here at work with Chris. :) It's nice having someone here who is cool.

I also stopped by The Earth on the way back from therapy today, in the hopes of seeing Elise, but she doesn't work today. I saw a lot of neat things though, and had a Tiger's Milk bar. I got preached to about how evil Bush is, and I smiled and nodded. Ahh, the renegade capitalist I am...

So yeah. I should read some Children of Dune so I can give it to Chris.

was bush evil because of his capitalist-ness? that's certainly not top of my list of romplaints with him. :) it's like going to my uncle's house and hearing how, if we elect gore, the nation's going to go STRAIGHT to hell. i didn't ask what happens if we elect somebody "worse."
as for the hypothyroid, you never got that checked out? i'd think you would have just for being so cold all the time -- that has to get obnoxious. sarah had a slight thyroid problem for a while and she lost a lot of weight, boom, when they put her on medication to correct it. i think she was just tired, though. i definitely think this is something you should get checked out. :) it might make stuff better (at least the cold!), but if not, you'll at least have knocked something else off the list of "possible causes."

Yep yep, that's the plan. Hey, losing weight is a good side effect too... woo... We will see. Maybe I will just go to Goddard for my physical, if no one speaks up...

Bush was evil because he was "stealing from the poor to give to the rich". Just that phrase. He was the opposite of Robin Hood. Since I don't really know what this lady was referring to, I couldn't agree or disagree with her, so I just smiled and nodded. But she was complaining about how she was being "gotten" for being below the poverty line.
