storage for boxspring

So you all might remember that when I moved in a month ago, my bed's box spring did not fit up the stairs. It is still sitting in the downstairs hallway, unfortunately blocking easy access to the basement.

Does anyone in a stable living situation have room to store the box spring for me for an unspecified amount of time? I don't want it in the hallway, but it doesn't fit anywhere else. I don't want to toss it, because I don't plan on living here forever and will reinstitute it as part of my bedroom set whenever I move.

You know, you might want to check with a mattress place in town - you should be able to get a split box spring so you can use it in your room and maybe even sell or give your current one to someone that needs one.
