Go here: http://cgi.money.cnn.com/tools/debtplanner/debtplanner.jsp
Have a goal in mind. Tell it your goal.
Follow its instructions. Don't charge more to cards while you're doing so, or the instructions will be off. Then when you recalculate it the next month, you're going to have to pay more!! D: So if you do charge anything to a card any particular month, add to your next month's payment the amount of that charge plus extra to cover the additional interest it cost you.
That's pretty much it. :)

Hooray! One more down!

(I celebrate $500 increments on my student loan payments. A few more years and they'll be gone.)

I think my "calculated" monthly payment to pay off by 2010 is somewhere in the $600s, but months like these when I have a windfall I am of course trying to blow that out of the water so that for the rest of the months it is smaller or even, perhaps, zero. :)

Good luck to you on the debt fight!

yay! You're now funneling the $ that used to go to this to the next card, right? Although if you buy yourself a small present first, that's a reward you deserve.

Yes, I am well familiar with the debt snowball, and that is the basis of the plan I'm using: http://cgi.money.cnn.com/tools/debtplanner/debtplanner.jsp - the "debt free deadline" plan.
