So [livejournal.com profile] zapf found a Top 100 Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Of All Time list online, and turned it into a meme for which shows he had seen. I shall now follow. For these purposes, a good rubric for "seen" is "can name two characters from," although for my crap memory I'm also including "can describe two characters from in detail" because I suck a names.

The list! )

32/100

I feel like I should make this a checklist. :)

Tonight I auditioned for a part in the Post-Meridian Radio Players' The Big Broadcast of October 30, 1938, to be performed on October 29, 30, and 31st. Will know by the weekend if I have a part. I have been seeing posts about auditioning for this for a long while, but held back doing anything about it for a variety of reasons, until in a rush of self-something last night I signed up for an audition slot tonight. There are a lot of people involved that I like and want to spend more time getting to know. And, with that said, since some of those people were the ones I was auditioning for and who now decide my fate ;) I shall say no more. Catch me off-LJ if you want my audition thoughts.

Then [livejournal.com profile] usernamenumber and I watched episode three of Defying Gravity. The show is getting to the end of its rope as far as "ooooooh what's going on?!?!" and needs to pretty damn soon establish that there is indeed a solid premise and plan behind it. That said, it's still neat and I'm still going to watch the next episode.

I watched and felt it.

Someday someone will make a sitcom about corps-style marching band, and I will die of fandom.

(Side note: I was reminded to check for Glee on Hulu after seeing this Star Trek XI fanvid linked by [livejournal.com profile] laura47. It's very well put together.

Also cracktastic: LJ usericons that feature Simon Pegg's Scotty and the line, "I love this ship!" (Think: shippers))
