juldeaI have had a whirlwind few days being out of town, plus approximately a day of being back. Thanksgiving dinner was at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
shogunhb and shadowravyn's, featuring several people and lots of food I like. londo and I stayed there Thursday night, by which I mean sleeping until mid-afternoon Friday, after which there was more hanging out and a movie trip to see Enchanted, which is adorable and amusing and worth paying to see. Although it does have the issue of Idina Menzel not singing throughout the entire movie, and what is up with that? We stayed up late again Friday night, slept in Saturday, and joined doc_smiley in going to oldest_song's post-Thanksgiving shindig. We left from there to another post-Thanksgiving party, this one at the home of laura47, where there was conversation and Guitar Hero to be had. We were dropped off at home at approximately 3am, and after falling asleep shortly later, we both slept until after 4pm this afternoon. This is unfortunate for my sleep schedule, especially since I'm wide awake now and supposed to be at work sometime before 12 hours from now (I was asked to come in undefined-ly early in order to help with end-of-month things that the two days off last week have made more complex.) Also it means that it's midnight right now, and I'm preparing to Cook for dinner, which will likely occur sometime between 1 and 2. Wacky.
It was good seeing people. I have many things to be thankful for.
