juldea: (sleepy)

I have been so busy lately, I haven't written about a whole bunch of things. Let's see if I can make a quick post.

Everyone who likes Radiohead, and everyone who likes playing with music, should check out Rodeohead. Just trust me. [livejournal.com profile] isaiahblake, if you don't listen to this I'll hack your computer to make it play all the time.

I have become addicted to knitting. It's not enough to do it on the bus/train... I have to do it while watching movies and just sitting around. Currently I'm making a baby poncho for my new sibling, to hopefully be delivered to the baby shower on the 13th. I think it'll happen. I am in love with the pattern.

Speaking of knitting, do the other knitters in the area know about Mind's Eye Yarns in Porter&exp2;? I wandered in there a few days ago. Preeeetty stuff, but expensive.

The heat has been turned on in our apartment. Yay. Radiators are weird; they make funny noises.

These addictions mean I haven't gotten much done at home that I could be doing... I need to hem up my dress for this weekend's wedding (I get to sit at the Cool Kids' table! Woot! Boyfriend being the Best Man has its privileges.), maybe do some laundry, clean some, and PLAY SOME 3K. Ye gods, it's been like two months since I have logged on. I feel like a tool. Especially since I spend so much time in other chats, and they're no more immersive than 3k would be...

Jen, my friend who lives on the first floor, lent me a book. She came up to me and said she had found this really addictive book series, and it was all about, "sex, pain, and despair," and she wanted to lend it to me! My response was of the, "Uh... thanks for thinking of me?" Hehehe. Haven't started it yet... yeah. Too much knitting. ;)

[livejournal.com profile] metahacker recently posted about a song that, much like Moxy Früvous's Gulf War Song, is a political song from a previous generation that fits perfectly now. Check it out. Also, check out that comment thread - who wants a bumper sticker?

Earlier on Mass Ave, near the orange line stop, a man wandered up to me muttering about god and then asked me loudly, "You don't believe in god, do you, Andre?" He didn't wait for an answer before staggering on. I was amused.

On Friday night I stayed up until about 3:30, then slept until 3pm. On Saturday I stayed up until, uh, Sunday morning at about 10. I woke up at 12, went, and LARPed. (Shit, will have to talk about MSM sometime.) Somehow stayed awake. Went to bed at, uh, 10 ish? Had to wake up at 5am to ride back into town. Is now 11pm; have to be up at 6.

I think that's all for now.

Wow. I am tired.
