direct deposit, strange reaction to random scadian

So, the awesome thing about direct deposit: While previously I was getting my check on Wednesdays and having to mail it in, therefore not getting money until the next Monday at the earliest, my first paycheck from the new job was direct deposited yesterday. Meaning I got what feels like 5-day advance pay... Is nice. I am doing well at keeping on making hefty credit card payments each week. Once I get into this groove, hopefully it'll become habit... and I'll be out of debt before I know it! (Ha ha, yeah right - holidays are coming up.)

So last night at dance practice a person showed up whom I've only ever seen once before. I think she is Morwinna. I have never been closer than 5 feet from her, never spoken a word her, never been introduced, etc etc. And yet - I have this weird instinctive reaction to dislike her. It's very strange. Maybe she resembles someone I disliked previously in my life? It's not that I see other people shunning her. Most of my friends there talked to her quite a bit, and I've heard them saying good things about her. So what is the basis for this reaction? *ponder*

I dunno what the basis for it is, but hopefully it's temporary, with the amount of time tpau and rufinia spend with her (and she is on LJ, btw)...

She is good people. She is also somewhat shy and has a "new people make me nervous" vibe. Maybe you're picking up on that?

Maybe... but I've always been observing her from, say, across the room (or the only other time I saw her, at Court at May Day, when she was sitting with Anna...) and she's been talking to people she supposedly knows. If I had talked to her before, as a new person, and she struck me that way it'd make more sense...

I can understand that. I can not explain it. There are people like that in my life. Once in a blue moon I just meet people who piss me off, even if they do not speak to me or mine. You know? There are just those people that for one reason or another rub you the wrong way.

I dunno, generally I have some small bit of interaction with a person before I dislike them... even if it's just one short conversation. I have seriously never said a word to this woman or had one said to me by her... and I think the only thing I've overheard her say is asking someone for help on a jewelry-making project... But yeah, I know those people exist. Just wish I could put my finger on what it is!

As I recall, I have that reaction to her as well. I'm aware that it's supposedly unjustified. But so far, it ain't mattered one whit...
