So, a week or so later. My wrist has been in a store-bought brace for most of the past week. This has proved to be the Right Thing To Do; it is feeling tons better and I'm even taking it off every now and then (It gets itchy under there!) In fact, I'm making this post while typing two-handed, though I'm being pretty delicate about it and I can tell I shouldn't do it much. The brace will be going back on for bed and whatnot.

As for the upper arm, it is no longer in daily pain, but there is a muscle there that's just... gone. I was showing this off to londo and my Wednesday D&D group today. My right arm, if I want to keep my arm straight at my side and then raise it, pivoting at the shoulder, straight up to be sticking out at the side, I just do it. With the left arm, I get about 25 degrees up and the arm just stops moving. It doesn't hurt, it's just... like there's no muscle there. londo and I tested a bit - he can lift my arm up to horizontal and then slowly remove support, but my arm can't stay up for more than a few seconds on its own, and that feels like a workout. It's pretty bothersome, when I think about it, but what can I do right now? *shrug*

So, that's that. I'm luckily not in daily pain anymore, yay! But I'm still kinda broken.

Oh, and working in the office at work is GREAT. I wish I could keep doing so after healing. The bosses are awesome fun.
