I had a fantastic day. I took off work, put 300 miles on a rental car, hung out with an internet friend, went yarn shopping, ate at an ice cream buffet, met up with other friends, and saw Transformers. Yay!
Transformers met all of my expectations. There were a couple of plot holes, but it was a movie made up of ROBOTS who TRANSFORMED and it was full of awesome. The CGI was great and smoothly integrated with the 'real' camera work. When I left the theater, I fully expected our cars to be able to transform. I was sad they couldn't.
Also, Starscream is super fucking sexy and I wish he were (1) real (2) not evil (3) capable of transforming with me safely inside. Oooh. Yes.
