xkcd fans to converge on Cambridge in September

So, I read today's xkcd earlier, but it didn't occur to me to chart out the coordinates. Luckily, I have people like diego001 to do that instead. Interestingly enough, that location is quite nearby (VERY close to a few of you!)

The date and time noted in the comic are now the basis of travel plans for many hardcore xkcd fans across the US. If I remember, I'll go check it out too. If nothing else, there will be interesting people to meet.

It is, in fact, 505 feet from my house.

(And you can probably knock about 10-20% off that since it takes into account going all the way down to the cross-street, whereas the park is on the corner.)

And it's also right next to my pal Pete's house (two houses to the left of the Norris Street entrance.)

I bet this will actually have a payoff, unlike that time machine dood who tried to get folks to go out to some park in Woburn or Malden a couple of years back.

This is four blocks from me. I haven't heard of the comic strip up to now, but I'm going to start reading it.
