I came home at 1am yesterday after driving through the remains of this weekend's blizzard to find that the heat in the house was turned off, and the temperature was 36ºF. I turned the heat back on, plugged in the space heater, and failed to sleep due to shivering for a few hours. When I woke up for work, the heat still wasn't on. I assumed I had not correctly set it the night before, and reattempted. Now that I'm home from work and it is still in the 40s, I can see there is an Issue here. Time to call chaiya and hakamadare.

In better news, my shiny has arrived. The jewel is not as dark as that image and is more of a magenta than deep purple, but it is still very pretty and I am pleased.

I am now going to make phone calls and then sleep.

Mine wasn't as sparkly/light either, but it's still a gorgeous piece for that price!

That sucks. It's bad enough having to go out into the cold, without having it already in there with you. Hope you get it fixed quickly.

Indeed, and londo isn't even here to provide his superb heating abilities. Sigh. Anyway, see my next post (which isn't written yet, but probably will be by the time you look) for further info.
