I don't even know if I've ever read anything he's written. My aunt just decided that I was the only person she knew who would appreciate such a gift. I really hope I do like his work.

I'm not sure; it's not in very good condition. The cover is certainly in multiple pieces. But I will probably try to drop by a used book store sometime when I'm back in town to find out.

Yeah, but the fact that it's still (probably) readable means that it must have some value.

However, I'm sure you'll enjoy it for what it is even if it turns out that it doesn't. Congratulations. :)

It is readable, as long as the reader takes caution. I have a feeling it will create a very immersive reading experience, having to treat the book so carefully. :)
