So, today I went to Access Level I training, day 1. Access is dead sexy. There, I said it. You may vilify me for my nerdiness now. ;) That said, if I enjoy Access and the things it can do so much, what does that say about what kind of career I should have? *pondering that grad degree in Statistics, again....*

Unfortunately, the training room computers don't have 'net access. This combined with the fact that now, midnight, is the first time I've sat at my computer tonight, means that I am YET AGAIN BEHIND. LJ, email, forums, you name it. And I'm leaving town either tomorrow night or Friday morning... sigh. Constant catch-up is no fun. :(

That said, I have started on the crocheted throw I posted about earlier - like I need a new project, yeah? Ah well. I worked on it while at the laundromat tonight. It went pretty quickly... In other projects, my brother's scarf is progressing nicely, but charting out the letters is proving to be a bitch. Even when I try to make custom graph paper something messes up. Yar. The Rogue hasn't been touched in a couple of weeks, so I should probably pick it up and work on it more, too. Also, this visit to my dad's should solidify my ideas on presents for him and his wife this year, woo.

londo is a nice boy. :)

Um, what else. Um. I am gonna see my family in <48 hours, and right now that is kind of taking precedence in my brain. That and Access. :)

Hey - maybe there are better programs out there that can do the things it can do, but this is the FIRST program I can see that can do the things it can do! Therefore it's awesome to me!

Access? Sexy??!??!!!! Well, er, okay. I don't consider that nerdy. I consider that misguided. *giggle* There. Villified. ;-)

Actually, giving MS credit where credit is due, they've really made great strides with Access. But it's not really what I'd call a full database. But it still works really well. You really really need to take a look at SQL Server. :-)

I won't vilify you for being a nerd, I'm to much of one myself. But am I allowed to vilify you for liking a Microsoft product?

Access has a pretty good booty, but you need Oracle to truly dampen your sheets. Don't flirt with Lotus Notes, the tease.

Yeah, I'll give you that option. I feel pretty ashamed of it myself. ;)

I think my brain would explode if I looked at a SQL server :) But probably explode in a GOOD way...!
