So, I can't afford the travel nor the time off to take vacation in August. This means no bellydance event in OK, no friends/family in OK, no friends/family in MI, and no OMP. First time in 6 years. Is it lame that that hurts more than not meeting my baby brother yet?

Aw man, and I'm actually going to make it to the OMP this year. I'm not taking any time off, however. I'm speedOMPing. I'm taking the red-eye out Friday night and arriving at 6am on Saturday, then I fly back Sunday night at 7pm. I don't plan on sleeping much (I maybe only sleeping on the plane :P)
