Wow. I really am on the edge of just walking out of here. Perfect way to start a Monday morning, eh?

The sad part is that I was in a really good mood all morning; woke up easily and happily, no issues, bus came a little late but it happens... And then I walk in here and the atmosphere just destroys my mood. I swear that one of my bosses really does believe in, "The beatings will continue until morale improves."

Want. Out.

What kind of job do you want? What's your skillset? I'm job-hunting, so if I know what to look for I can send things your way.

With everything you go through I'd find myself something else and just up and walk out the door with how they treat you :P *comforts* but I'm a mean SOB like that...

It's the "finding something else" part that I am trying to do right now.

I am, apparently, really bad at answering that question. Would it help if I just posted my resume?

You're being a whi- no, I can't. Damn it!

Things will get better - you'll find a good job soon, I'm sure of it.

Don't try it, Milholland. I have the capabilities to ruin your life in only two weeks!

That would scare me more if it wasn't for the fact I can say the same towards you - and I'm always here... around your possessions.

Don't make me test the cat equals pop tart theory.

Oh, I'd ruin your life AFTER I moved my things out. ^_^

Yeah, it would help to see what you have experience in. Maybe also note if there were any jobs you didn't like (the job, not the boss, coworkers, commute, etc), and why it wasn't a good fit. Things like I've learned that I'm very unhappy in jobs where I'm isolated from people

Isolated from co-workers or from random people? I have to deal with sales representatives who walk in off of the street here, and people calling the department who don't know where their question goes, and that kind of thing is just inherently stressful to me.

I definitely dislike jobs where I can't see the end result of my work. If I'm just pushing paper around on my desk... yeaugh. Some of my tasks her are like that but not all of them, thankfully (I gained access to the system that tells me, yes, that invoice was paid!)

Working on the resume now; I'll probably post a horribly rough draft here in a few. I have experience in Customer Service, that's for sure, but I would prefer not to be stuck there for the above reasons.

Errrmmm.... I hate to say this, but as many loyal and dedicated followers as you have Juldea, I truely believe that Kobold might have more. After you ruined his life, I'm afraid his rabid and fiercely loyal zerg would overwhelm you and your friends. Maybe if you were to enlist catgirls to your side? Just need a few dozen shiny objects and one of Kobold's catgirl T-shirts.

I'd just promise them pictures of my breasts. I'd win.

I'm afraid you've got him there.

Besides, if you choose to bitch and whine on your livejournal just once, that's your privilege. Usually your journal is interesting and often entertaining. That's more than we can say for the average "OMG my life sux LOL WTF BBQ!" journaler.

Ditto and ditto.

I also feel your pain, too. I'm just about ready to go for the tire iron right now.

Well, some would argue that I'm not bitching/whining just this once... ;) But thanks - I try to be interesting even for the people who aren't 'in my life'. :)

Here's the deal. Everyone is entitled to some degree of bitching and moaning. It's a balancing act of course. But when you consider that some journals are full of Nothing But Bitching And Moaning, the occasional gripe seems reasonable to me!

What co-workers? That's part of the problem. The last few jobs I've had I interact with my boss, and at one of them with customers/delivery people (which helped some). Co-workers are something that happen to other people.

Hmm, yeah. Actually, I've had jobs like that before, and I was happy with it. Back in college I had a job where I'd sit alone in an office and handle math question phone calls, and sometimes the phone would be silent for an hour and I'd just do my own little thing... it ruled.
