I have found myself craving knitting company. I plan on getting together with [livejournal.com profile] tpau this weekend, but I want a regular Stitch'n'Bitch* to attend.

[livejournal.com profile] galaneia is trying to set something up... I've applied to the Stitch 'n' Bitch Boston yahoo group and am awaiting authorization... I found a group that meets in Somerville (Ball Square) on Sundays... and [livejournal.com profile] wickedknitting sometimes posts things.

My problem is that I want something on a weeknight that isn't hard for me to get to... Weekends are precious [livejournal.com profile] londo time. :P

I'm really antsy, though. I'm impatiently waiting for [livejournal.com profile] galaneia to respond to me. ;)

Oooh! Yahoo group just added me! *zoom*

* A small meeting of people wherein these two activities happen, hopefully with more of the former than the latter.

My wife attends a weekly knitting group in JP. I can pass your interest along if you'd like.

At Panera Bread in Shrewsbury I noticed two groups of women hanging there ... one group always wears funny hats (different each time)... the other group knits together...

Nifty. I assume you're just sharing information, and not suggesting I get myself to Shrewsbury ;)

JP is T-accessible on the Orange line, it's adjacent to Boston and Brookline.

My wife's group invades Panera Bread from time to time as well. Must be a knitty thing. :)

It's the Forest Hills end of the Orange Line, although not the LAST stop.

Here. http://www.circles-salon.com/

And more specifically, http://www.circles-salon.com/news/circles.htm

Aha yes, the Circles group is talked about on the Yahoo group.

The thing about the Orange line is that I just have a bus pass, and I'm not really close to subway lines, just bus lines. So getting to a subway is both time and money consuming. :P
